Air Fryer Keto Onion Rings
Craving onion rings but worried because traditional onion rings don’t fit the Keto diet? We were too. That’s why we developed an easy recipe for Keto, low carb onion rings that are perfect to fit your diet. And don’t forget your favorite dipping sauce!
Ingredients:
- 1 Sweet Onion (Large, cut into rings)
- 1 Cup Flour (Almond)
- 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 2 tsp paprika (Regular or smoked)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 eggs (Beaten)
- 1 Tbsp Heavy Cream or Whole Milk
- Cooking spray of choice (We like avocado oil)
Instructions:
- Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl
- Beat eggs and add heavy cream to separate bowl
- Dredge onion rings individually in egg mixture followed by flour mixture, repeat once.
- Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray
- Place onion rings along basket (make sure not to pile them on top of one another to ensure an even cook).
- Cook at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway
Air Fryer Keto Chicken Parmesan
Calling all comfort food lovers! Get a delicious, Keto-friendly chicken parmesan recipe that can be made in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
- 1-2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- ¾ cup almond flour
- 2 eggs (Beaten)
- 2 cups grated parmesan
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup keto-friendly marinara (i.e. Raos)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- Cooking spray of choice (We like avocado oil)
Instructions:
- Place almond flour and beaten eggs in two separate bowls
- Combine remaining dry ingredients in mixing bowl (excluding mozzarella)
- Dredge chicken in almond flour, followed by the egg mixture and lastly the remaining dry ingredients
- Repeat once
- Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray
- Place chicken into basket and top with mozzarella cheese
- Cook at 375 for 10-12 minutes
- Flip chicken, add marinara and remaining mozzarella
- Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes or until internal temperature has reached 165 degrees
Air Fryer Keto Pickles
You’re either a pickle lover or you’re not but these air fryer keto pickles are hard to pass up. They’re extremely keto-friendly and a great snack for any time of the day.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup crushed pork rinds or pork bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (Grated)
- Dill pickle slices
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1-2 large eggs (Beaten)
- Cooking spray of choice (We like avocado oil)
Instructions:
- Lay pickle slices on paper towels to draw out moisture. Let rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Place crushed pork rinds or bread crumbs in mixing bowl
- Whisk eggs and place in separate bowl
- Combine dry ingredients (almond flour, salt and garlic powder) in an additional bowl.
- Dredge pickle slices in flour mixture, followed by whisked eggs and lastly pork rinds. Repeat once.
- Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray
- Cook at 375 degrees for 5-6 minutes or until crispy
