My Discovery

I found the original kale chip recipe online and decided to bring the benefits of the airfryer to this delicious treat. It turned out much better than I’d expected and after a few tweaks the kale chips came out pretty much perfectly.

There is a tricky balance between making the kale crispy and burning them so I’d highly recommend checking on them in the final few minutes.

I prefer to have mine with a little salt but I've also seen people dip them in sauces so it might be worth giving it a go!

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat airfryer

Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for 4 minutes.

Step 2

Seperate out your portion of kale

Add more if you have more people to feed.

Step 3

Wash kale

Soak, wash and dry the kale.

Step 4

Drizzle oil

Lightly add the oil to the kale, to give it that cripsy finish.

Step 5

Season

Generously season the kale with the salt.

Step 6

Get ready to air fry

Move the seasoned kale into the airfryer basket.

Step 7

Air fry

Air fry for 4 or 5 minutes or until they're starting to crisp.

Step 8

Serve and enjoy!

Add dipping sauces or extra seasoning to taste.
